Peer teaching

Peer teaching is a reflective exercise using oral presentation (.ppt files of 6-8 pages) on a chosen topic from the syllabus. It gives EXAMPLES taken from one’s own writing or from one’s peer-reviewing exercises. NOTE: Students may be picked out at random to make the presentation.

Collected Essays (Mini- Anthology)

Students, individually or in groups of 4-5, compile the completed essays during the semester into a final project, which consists of a TITLE (e.g. A Collection of Freshmen Essays), which distinctly identifies the collection, a TABLE OF CONTENTS, which presents a list of essays and the respective writers contained in the collection, a PREFACE, which describes the rationale (reason behind) the arrangement of essays (descriptive essay), POSTFACE, which presents a description of knowledge learned and skills developed from attending the course   (narrative/descriptive essay), and finally the process of completing the Anthology (process/definition/ classification essay). IMPT: Images and graphics to put in zest into your work are highly recommended.
